The best time to water plants is in the early morning. This will allow the water to reach the roots of the plant without losing to evaporation.

When your schedule does not allow for early morning watering, you can water in the late afternoon or early evening. There should still be enough sun left to dry the plants before night falls.

Damp leaves at night encourages fungus problem, such as powdery mildew or sooty mold.
